How You Can Get Involved?
You can get involved in creating solutions for your community by attending a Hui Laulima meeting held on the 1st Friday of each month.  Meetings are held 10:30 to noon at the Neighborhood Place of Kona.

Join a working committee!
Committee meetings are held at the Neighborhood Place of Kona at 10:00 am on the 1st Friday of every month.

Attend the annual Hui Laulima Conference
 Help the Hui determine its focus for the coming year.

Nominate an unsung hero for a Hui Laulima Award.
This award recognizes individuals as well as groups in the community that have demonstrated one or more of the following characteristics:

  • Significant and ongoing contributions to the youth of Kona and our community
     
  • Leadership, ongoing citizenship and a model community member
     
  • Overcoming a major obstacle in life with persistence and determination
