Our guiding values are woven throughout Neighborhood Place of Kona, from the selection of the Board of Directors and staff to the activities conducted to implement the purpose of the organization.  Neighborhood Place of Kona encourages similar attitudes & behavior in their colleagues & families they serve.

Sharing of Mana'o

NPK uses a "talk story" approach in hopes of making a connection and establishing a lasting relationship with families and individuals we serve.  We are a Pu'uhonua (place of safety and peace), where everyone is welcome to share their mana'o regarding the welfare of children and  families.
